Audiophile deal.

Sabaj A20a is the real deal. I've been using them on my Amphion Two 18 studio monitors for a week now. They're rated at 4 ohms, but they're difficult to work with. The SMSL DA-8, which also uses an Infineon chip, sounded good but only at very moderate to low volumes. The A20a is a definite leap in sound quality and performance. I bought two of these to use as all-in-ones, like the DA-8, because they advertised a "medical grade" built-in power supply. They had beautiful photos to back up that claim. Luckily they weren't joking. This is theft in the audiophile world. Ultra-high resolution across the entire audio spectrum. They do NOT sound like SMSL DA-8 although there is a family resemblance due to the Infineon chips. Some background info: I use studio gear, drive amps through a passive volume control and don't use the built in volume control. to Sabay. I also use balanced inputs instead of RCA inputs. I use two of these as mono blocks, with only one channel per amp. This ensures maximum channel separation and maximum available power from the built-in power supply (far superior to external power supplies for other devices). Highly recommended!

Pros
  • There is a 15V power output on the back of the product, this output is only suitable for A20d and A20h, avoid connecting other products.
Cons
  • Something different
