Description of SABAJ A20a: Powerful Balanced Stereo Power Amplifier with Infineon MA12070 Chip Hi-Fi Class D Amp, 150W x 2Ω, XLR RCA Inputs, Remote Control - Ideal for Home Speakers

A20a Class D stereo channel amplifier uses two German Infineon power amplifier chips. Under 2Ω conditions, each channel can provide 150w power, and under 8Ω load conditions, it can provide 50w power. This amplifier can provide the required powerful driving force and high-quality transient response for passive speakers and floor-standing speakers in home HIFI systems. SABAJ is worth paying attention to is the tailor-made modular medical-grade power supply, which lay a solid foundation for the power supply A20a.Each element after extensive listening tests and singled out. These components will continue to supply all of the voltage and current requirements needed, even under the most difficult load conditions. The A20a has a built-in low-pass filter that can filter out the human voice to enhance the richness of the bass. Connect the active bass speaker LFE in or Subwoofer IN interface to create a 2.1HIFI stereo sound system. The balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs on the rear panel are perfectly connected to any high-end power supply, which will surely become the core product in the popular stereo/home theater system. Built-in 7 EQ modes, plus a custom mode. Strive to achieve satisfactory results in various types of music playback. There is a 15V power output on the back of the item, this output is only suitable for A20d and A20h, avoid connecting other products.

The amplifier is fine, high-pitched roar in the speakers.

I bought this to replace the SMSL DA-9 which had wild DC offset swings but sounded fine. I just couldn't trust the power supply. The A20a sounded a little dirtier, but from what I understand it takes about a week of burn through before it opens clean and gets a little louder. I didn't have that experience with the DA-9 - it sounded good out of the box. The reason for the 3 stars is that the A20a's power supply is very loud through the speakers. With just the amp and speakers hooked up (no DAC…

Excellent, clean, powerful

There is nothing bad to say about this amp. Played on my main system for a few weeks and was amazed that an amp in this price range could sound so good. I used XLRS from a balanced DAC. (RME ADI-2 FS) to Tekton Lore speakers. It is very good to give all the details. As a result, he returned to his tube amp. I've been using it as an amp in the bedroom for a while. It still sounds great. Using a Bluesound streamer and Soncoz SGD-1 DAC with Emotiva B1+ speakers. Very important. Just my opinion.

Pros
  • Class D stereo channel amplifier A20a uses two German Infineon power amplifier chips. Each channel can deliver 150 watts of power into a 2 ohm load and 50 watts into an 8 ohm load. This amplifier can provide the necessary powerful drive and high quality transient response for passive speakers and floorstanding speakers in home HIFI systems.

Audiophile deal.

Sabaj A20a is the real deal. I've been using them on my Amphion Two 18 studio monitors for a week now. They're rated at 4 ohms, but they're difficult to work with. The SMSL DA-8, which also uses an Infineon chip, sounded good but only at very moderate to low volumes. The A20a is a definite leap in sound quality and performance. I bought two of these to use as all-in-ones, like the DA-8, because they advertised a "medical grade" built-in power supply. They had beautiful photos to back up that…

Pros
  • There is a 15V power output on the back of the product, this output is only suitable for A20d and A20h, avoid connecting other products.
Cons
  • Something different

I've had many amplifiers. Cheap, expensive, big, small, American brands, Asian brands. It is the first class D compact amplifier and is considered the best in terms of performance and sound quality. I think the difference is that most small class D amps are powered by ICs originally designed for use in smart speakers, bluetooth speakers, soundbars etc where performance should be good but not great for getting your work done. The Infineon chips, developed in Germany and used in the Sabaj A20a…

Pros
  • SABAJ to look out for is a bespoke, medical grade, modular power supply that provided a solid foundation for the A20a power supply. Each element has been carefully auditioned and highlighted. Even under the most difficult load conditions, these components still supply all the required voltages and currents.
