I'm not the type of person to write reviews and nobody compensates me for it. I don't normally get excited about products, but the performance of this product was so impressive that I thought it deserved a high rating. I love this stuff! I have been a pet owner all my life and am currently the 'mom' of three cats who live with me in a carpeted house. Over the years I've tried everything in case of an accident, including other enzyme-based products that need to be left on the carpet for a while (if you use the product as directed) to allow it to "eat the smell". Proteins cause". (They don't say anything about the salts in the urine that linger and still show up.) Ewww. I'm very sensitive to chemicals and strong smells, so waiting two or three days is just unbearable. And afterwards it leaves a sticky residue on the carpet that attracts dirt and needs to be removed too. Also doubling down on the work? No thanks! Skout's Honor has become my favorite product. You don't have to wait long for the stunning crescendo of the fragrance to wear off. It works quickly and is a godsend if, for example, an "accident" happens just before guests arrive. And, oh my joy! Leaves no sticky residue that requires extra cleaning. The biggest bonus for me is the fresh, clean, non-chemical scent that lingers after work is done Very good.
