Hello astronomers. I want to tell you about the wonderful Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ telescope that I bought back in the summer and this is my first telescope in my life. I always dreamed of looking at the moon closer, but with my eyesight it was simply not realistic. I ordered it in a liaison that is located in the Dynamo metro area. The day of delivery was just fine weather and the moon was 20 percent of its size. Assembling the telescope was not difficult, it took about 30 minutes. The main assembly is a tripod, everything else is already assembled. And so I tested this unit, assembled, weighs about 10 kilograms, the main and bulky is the optical tube itself, while the tripod is assembled compactly and placed in any place. I wonβt write about the characteristics, Iβd rather share my emotions. I started with a 20mm eyepiece, its hole makes it easy to see the moon in excellent quality magnified 33 times. With this eyepiece, I was able to easily catch the moon with an equatorial mount as a beginner. Everything is beautiful, everything is clear, I saw the moon for the first time through a telescope and was extremely pleased, but this is not enough. I tried an eyepiece with a 10 mm magnification of 65 times and then, as a beginner, problems began, because of the narrow pupil of the eyepiece, I could not aim at the moon even with the existing electronic sight, believe me, itβs not so easy to catch the moon even when it is full, but when I caught and saw this miracle, my wife could not pull me away from the telescope for a long time. The telescope itself is of quite good quality, I don't know of any others that it could compare with both in terms of price and quality. The standard set does not even reveal half the capabilities of the telescope, and over time I bought additional optics for it 2x and 5x barlow lenses, filters for the moon and other planets, they showed the full power of this telescope, with them I magnified the moon 307 times and it was something incredible. Craters, paths and much more are visible, looked at Mars insanely beautiful. Now about strength. The most valuable is the optical tube I pack it in several large bags so that the dust does not get in and hide it away. Everything else is made of iron and steel tubes, everything is solid, the only thing that confuses is the handles, but so far there have been no problems. Having become the owner of this miracle telescope, I did not regret a single bit about my long choice of a durable, not expensive, high-quality model! Checked! I recommend!
