I'm so glad it was pretty comfortable to sleep in. I have fine hair and often need to curl it a little to add texture and volume. Reg curling irons which are too painful for me to sleep in but thanks to them my neck was free. The foam insert is also soft, even for side sleepers. I've tried a similar trick with a headband, but the curls were often too small or tangled - it created a nice wave and didn't smooth out the crown too much either. I have used with or without the product to thicken my hair and this is better. All in all, this is an affordable way to curl your hair cheaply and without damage. Perfect for nights when I shower and don't want to look like a wet dog in the morning. The clip is handy for piercing the tip and a good hair claw overall. This is longer than I need for shoulder length hair, so I fold the long section up. If you have very long hair you will be fine too.
