It was really easy to replace and there are loads of good videos on YouTube if you need it. However, after I replaced the cable and reinstalled everything, the controller was still stuck (to the heated windshield in my case). If so, don't force it, it will break again (just look at some 1 star reviews lol). I only helped that this controller is connected to a good tug and that freed it and now it works great. This required removing the bottom line, but it was easy. If you get stuck on any other setting, you may need to push the lever.
