I like this product because it contains no flavors or sweeteners. Although the bottle says it should be added to juices, milk, or milk substitutes (like almond or rice milk) because it's a bit bitter, I've tried the powders myself and haven't found that they have a flavor of their own and certainly not nothing unpleasant. . It's good and just what I want because it means I can mix it with anything and have no flavors or sweeteners in a product I don't like or taste bad with whatever liquid I have it with. Most of the other Essential Amino Powders I've looked at, including the one my nutritionist gave me, have a combination of flavors like citrus and berry, some of which I don't like at all. And once they try to use fruit flavors, sweeteners must be in the product. When trying to use something natural they all tend to use stevia which tastes the worst. To my taste, stevia tastes a lot worse than all artificial sweeteners. So I'm glad there's nothing like that with this product. The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is because the powder doesn't want to mix with water or other liquids. No matter how well I mix it, the powder sticks together and doesn't dissolve. But I've found that this is also true for other amino acid powders, so I suspect it's due to the nature of the amino acids themselves.
