Poor design and assembly. First, the long-distance and short-distance function of the amplifier is inefficient and does not affect signal quality or additional channels when rescanning. Second, the 10 foot cable used to connect the antenna to the TV or converter is not shielded so it becomes an extension of the antenna making it difficult to find the best location for the antenna and is subject to interference. Third, the antenna hanging hook is not bent to the shape of the antenna, so it will not hang securely. Finally, the antenna is plastic and it and the base are quite flimsy and poorly constructed.
