Review on NewAir G56 5600 Garage Heater by Gina Walser

Me, including a builder, and this insulation has helped me through these severe freezes and inclement weather. My only issue, however, is that the thermometer isn't very accurate and tends to turn itself off before the room is fully warmed up. It takes several on/off cycles for the room temperature to actually approach the set temperature. Some people have had to modify their heaters with more accurate thermometers, but I don't have time for that right now. That issue aside, overall the heater is amazing and fairly durable. Again, I wish it wouldn't shut down on the machine so quickly. One trick I've used is to leave it on manually, and while it often alternates between fan and heat, I've found this method makes the room much warmer and faster. Then, when the temperature approaches the ambient temperature, I switch to automatic mode, after which the temperature drops again. and the cycle begins. Fix the built-in thermometer and you have a winner! Update: I also bought a similar heater through Revain and theirs works great, as you can see I tested it through QC. However, the one bought from Better-Deals has expired as it has a tendency to switch off and never reaches the target temperature. It came with a faulty limiter/thermostat or something. I have contacted the seller but he is not willing to help and/or not send replacement parts. If you are purchasing this heater I recommend that you contact Revain directly and not through the third party that Revain operates. This is the only reason I gave it 1 out of 4 stars as I received a working unit from Revain but a faulty one from a third party as I bought two of them.
