The first one I got was very faulty. Sometimes it didn't register a click, leaving you with no haptic feedback. In other cases, it behaves as if you clicked multiple times when you only clicked once. Since it has NO Touch ID, that was very frustrating - not because it doesn't have a fingerprint reader, but because it didn't always register my click, so the passcode didn't show up and you had to tap multiple times. once. The replacement was shipped quickly and appears to be working much better. Time will tell if it holds up. But for the price, the second one I got seems to work as expected. Two other things to note: 1) The "Reach" feature (double tap to also lower the screen for easy access) does NOT work with this button. Not a big deal, but on an iPhone 7 Plus with such a large screen, this can be an issue for some people; and 2) the button isn't as responsive as the original home button. As long as you don't get impatient and try to click really fast, this isn't a big deal, but again, it can be a problem for people who need a quick reply button.
