This lanyard is a bargain price. It has a felt backing that mimics a leather strip and a smooth leather strip for tightening. I probably won't use a felt-backed faux leather strap like a leather strap, but a smooth leather strap is good for tightening. It's well made for stripper training but its hardware isn't as robust as others, but it works! I would recommend this to a home hairstylist learning to strip but not to a commercial hairstylist or someone looking for a lifetime sling. Because hardware can become a problem in everyday life and eventually fail. Otherwise highly recommended! DM
