Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Power Distribution with the Benfei Power Y Splitter Cable Inches by Charles Galan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

To stay updated! only 5 inches, not 8! As the advertised length seems like a hoax, the rating has dropped

Disappointing, it's not even 6 inches including ports on either side. The cables are each about 5 inches (12 cm) long, 8 inches is more like the total length of the two extensions combined, which is a scam. I mentioned in my previous review that the cables are too short but didn't realize they weren't even as advertised until other customers noticed. I feel cheated which also means that in this situation the cable is pulled taut and can result in it becoming disconnected or worse, partially left connected which can result in permanent damage to the drives attached to it. High-quality connectors that stably connect cables/devices. Not like a bad cable, they work very well, all devices have been recognized and work without problems I hope they are durable and not undergo multiple maintenance like others. On the other hand, the wires aren't that good, they aren't flexible, which limits its use, you can't install it the way you want. A very important warning for all users. You should never connect more than 4 devices to the same power line. Each power supply has two or more lines, each with 2 to 4 connectors, the types of these connectors may vary depending on the model. This cable is not designed to add additional or duplicate power connectors, it should only be used to add such connectors to a line that has no or fewer than 2 SATA power connectors. Connecting additional devices (more than 4) to the same power line can produce multiple results. You may not have enough power to boot from your hard drive because the line is exceeding its performance limits, but you can also damage your drives, your power supply, or even your entire PC hardware. Only by knowing exactly how much current is fed to each line and how much current is consumed by all the devices connected to that line in total can you calculate whether an additional device can handle it or not.
