Ears break off on them, so there's no point in reusing them. Some were even broken in the packaging to let them know. The metal used is of poor quality. I have a few of my old rackmounts that have been used for decades, but once you install the hardware it should be forever. If you remove it, at least 2 ears will fall off. See my photo for a stack of a burst bag. I'll use them and buy better ones, and if I put things away I'll use them better. You get what you pay for. I would also be worried about heavier gear if this metal is really strong enough as they even break in transit as I said in the bag.
