Review on πŸŽ›οΈ Precision Control: Stepless Adjustable Potentiometer for Smooth Forward, Brake, and Reverse Operation by Rob Dixon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The FWD/Rev switch failed after a single use.

I bought this to replace a broken PWM 60A/100A to power my trolling motor. Thrust 36 lbs, max thrust 30A. First one I bought, the main unit died but at least I got a few uses from it. This one I installed to replace the previous one and I used it ONCE before the FWD/Rev/Off switch died. I measured the side of the motor leads with my volt/ammeter and saw no current when turned on. I measured the terminal side of the battery and saw the current so I knew the battery side was fine. Luckily I had the switch from my previous PWM and was able to replace it by measuring the motor side again and seeing the current drawn. I'm trying this one right now. Do these things come with under gain switches? I haven't checked to see if there is an amp rating on the switches.
