I have been using my iSpring reverse osmosis system for a little over a year and I can say that my family and I are incredibly happy with it! This has a significant impact on the water quality, and we like the taste. Changing the filter is pretty easy and seeing how nasty my sediment filter has gotten after 8 months makes me really thankful I have this filter (and it's just one step!). The pump isn't very loud either and doesn't bother me, and even if it does, it doesn't do us that much good. We use city water, which is not of very good quality and doesn't really show up after the water has been filtered. Before the system I typically see 400ppm and after the filter I typically see around 20ppm. My filters were supposed to be changed per the 6 month recommendation but I just did a quick test and I'm still seeing 20ppm along with the flavor I'm expecting. The last time I changed my filters was when I noticed that the taste of the water had changed somewhat and that was after about 8 months of use. I'm also very happy with the support I've received from iSpring. I contacted iSpring support twice and both times Nick was very helpful and informative. You can tell they stand behind their product and want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Even to the point of having to replace the faucet due to an issue that I don't necessarily believe is with the product itself but with my water. When I first bought the system I asked about waste water as I saw 4.5 gallons of waste per gallon of filtered water and Nick recommended a permeate pump. I immediately ordered one and would definitely recommend anyone with a reverse osmosis system to get one as it will improve the overall efficiency of your reverse osmosis water system. This improves reverse osmosis efficiency and reduces waste, which in turn reduces the time it takes to fill the jug and also helps extend the life of the reverse osmosis membrane. I don't pay much for water in my area so I'm not saving money by reducing waste, but to me the sheer efficiency improvement of something is worth the $50 I paid for my permeate pump (Aqua Tec ERP-1000). Permeate Pump" on Revain). I have already recommended this filter to several people and I can say that two of them are now iSpring filter owners and seem as happy with their purchase as I am. I will be happy to recommend this filter to friends and family and if I'm ever looking for a different water filter, I'd happily buy another iSpring filter.
