This bracket lasted 10 months before the radar detector's metal bracket broke. (I drilled a few holes in the mount and then used string and glue to hold it in place temporarily while I waited for a new mount). During those 10 months, the bracket would sometimes start to sag as the screws would loosen a little even if you tightened the screws. When it buckled, I picked my radar detector back up instead of loosening, adjusting, and re-tightening the bracket. I suspect this put more stress on the metal bracket which combined with the poor quality meant it eventually broke. 3/5 stars because even with the broken metal mount I can still use it to mount my gopro which is only $15. I decided to order a slightly more expensive and higher quality device as a replacement.
