Highly recommended.

#1 All reviews say how difficult it is to install. Remove the mirror, its 1 set screw and it comes loose immediately. #2 I didn't use the included wing nuts, went to the store and bought other nuts and ny-lock washers to use instead. #3 for my application (2019 Tacoma, with mirror up) the screws were too long and there was only one set. So, when I installed and tightened the nuts where I wanted, I cut off the ends with bolt cutters. #4 I also bought a straight wire because the idea of a coiled…

Lasted 10 months (but did secure it with some rope afterwards)

This bracket lasted 10 months before the radar detector's metal bracket broke. (I drilled a few holes in the mount and then used string and glue to hold it in place temporarily while I waited for a new mount). During those 10 months, the bracket would sometimes start to sag as the screws would loosen a little even if you tightened the screws. When it buckled, I picked my radar detector back up instead of loosening, adjusting, and re-tightening the bracket. I suspect this put more stress on the…

Very stable for Escort/Beltronics radar detectors, but your mirror shouldn't be TOO high!

That said it worked great on my 20th Honda 21CR barely clean -V year not to mess with the day / night lever under the mirror. If you have a tall mirror (or if you put a "wide" mirror adapter on top of the original mirror) this probably won't work because you don't have enough room to fit the radar detector into the mount. in other words, the detector plugs into your wide-angle adapter/mirror attachment).
