Review on Fill Rite FR1210G Transfer Discharge Suction by Brandon Perkins

PUMP HOSE NEEDS TO BE RENEWED/REPLACED

This Fill-Rite fuel pump works as expected. It's loud, sounds energized, but gets the job done as expected. No "gallons per minute" count. For me, the electrical connection was terribly small. I switched to 8GA copper, 3-wire cable from Surplus Marine. Appropriate measures must be taken to connect the fused battery directly. The bad news is that the pump hose that goes to the pump handle has worn out prematurely. Pictures should be understandable. In short, if there is a cheaper fuel transfer hose, I haven't found it! It never proved malleable, rather rigid, so swivel joints were installed at each end. Given the cost of the entire device, this was unexpected. The correct solution was to contact our local 'Central Hydraulics' for a quality commercial hose. I later discovered that Tractor Supply has much better fuel hose replacement options for a little less money. George G Fries, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
