Cable too short Best in spare parts

As I said, the hose kinks easily and looks quite cheap. My problem was that the thick wire going to the battery was about a foot shorter. They think you're getting a long enough wire for that money. I redirected it in different directions, but could not adapt it to the accumulator. On the right is the pump and on the left is the battery. If the pump and accumulator were on the same side it would fit, but my transfer tank only allowed the pump to be mounted on the right side. The instructions…

Expensive but worth it.

This pump is a workhorse and pumps gas faster than any gas station pump. The only thing to note is to make sure the voltage is 12+ DC from a good source or the pump will not start. I used heavy duty 4 gauge patch cords for the connection. The first time I pumped 14 gallons of gas in under a minute. It's better to twist by hand and I didn't spill anything. Be sure to install a good filter as this pump will move the sediment along with your fuel. I installed a Golden Rod filter with a clear…

PUMP HOSE NEEDS TO BE RENEWED/REPLACED

This Fill-Rite fuel pump works as expected. It's loud, sounds energized, but gets the job done as expected. No "gallons per minute" count. For me, the electrical connection was terribly small. I switched to 8GA copper, 3-wire cable from Surplus Marine. Appropriate measures must be taken to connect the fused battery directly. The bad news is that the pump hose that goes to the pump handle has worn out prematurely. Pictures should be understandable. In short, if there is a cheaper fuel transfer…

I gave up the second one within a week

This is the second FillRite pump I've installed and it only lasted about a week. The first one I bought (2018) from Revain lasted about 3 fills before the motor burned out. I applied for warranty service, but that's when I needed a pump, so I went to a tractor shop and bought one from stock. Works to this day, knock on wood. So FillRite sent me a new pump which I kept as a spare. Unopened, at my parents house for 3 years. I bought another transfer tank for my truck and decided to install this…

If the pump does not deliver fuel, CHECK THE 12 VOLT POLARITY!

Bought for 275 gallon off road diesel thanks. Assembled and connected red to + and black to - as instructed in the instructions. The pump worked but did not fill with fuel. The diesel level in the tank is 2-3 inches below the pump and the suction pipe is fully lowered 10 inches from the bottom of the tank. As I put my hand on the outlet, I noticed that it was SUCKING, NOT PRESSURE! The leads from the motor winding to the junction box are routed the wrong way around (black + and red -). As soon…
