Review on πŸ”’ Dorman 746-368 Motorized Door Lock Actuator by Maurice Cunha

Works very well - fits 2005 MDX

First it was the right rear door that would not open with the remote control. I lived with it. I did the same with the passenger door. Ah, now I had no choice; Time to break things - oh I wanted to fix things. First I did the back door and everything went very well. Took me about 30 minutes total, I worked slowly because I didn't have a good idea of what I was doing and I'm slow. Makes sense right? The part fit and worked great and I celebrated by putting spikes in the old part. The front door was a different story. Everything is tight and I needed a small mirror to help with the project. The part fit perfectly. Replacing the front took some time. I left the instrument at the door, remembering too late that it was there. I had to reopen it to remove the object. You should be glad I'm not your surgeon. Notice to MDX owners. On the front door, remove the small speaker on the door frame by pulling on it. It is held by three clips. Another tip for you. Remove the cover of the large speaker in the door by gently pulling on it. There are six gold screws around the speaker. Remove them and carefully remove the speaker before pulling on the door panel. Believe me. I may or may not have torn the door apart which caused some minor damage requiring the use of glue. This part fits perfectly. I can use my remote control. I'm happy. I celebrated it by avoiding gardening. Thanks Dorman.
