Review on 🔧 BLACKHORSE-RACING 2.5 Inch Universal Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Double Braid Flex Pipe - 4 Inch Length by Eric Jenkins

I bought a 2.5" x 4" flex hose. A typical 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust should fit into them for a good overlap and weld. However, their internal size was a few thousand inches under 2.5 (about 2.495), so any exhaust pipes that are 2.5 or slightly larger (one of mine was 2.505) will not fit. Even with some deburring and creating a nice bevel, I removed some of the material around my exhaust pipe with a paddle wheel. I chose not to attempt to modify the coiled tubing because the components are quite flimsy where the bellows tubing, braid and rings are welded together at the end. It is better to shave the exhaust pipe a little. Other parts of the system fit - the range isn't really tight so do some dry adjustments and see how you are before you start sanding/sanding things. Based on the measurements I think they got this part right, but there is a lot of variability between "nominal" 2.5" exhaust system parts. If they were larger, some pipes would have a large gap that would have to be filled by welding. No long term results yet, but I installed another exhaust bracket to keep those flex pipes from supporting the weight of the system. In general I am very happy with them.
