Get ready to mod this device. It's very easy. The joints at the corners are not sealed. The individual lamella panels are very thin and light. They swing open at the slightest whirlwind or rising wind. There is no mesh inside to prevent birds or other objects from flying between the open blinds when the wind blows them through. I glued large washers to the inside of the blinds to weigh them down, added an aluminum window screen on the inside, and sealed them with a Vicor waterproof barrier to seal the inside corner joints. These changes allowed me to get satisfactory results. Photos are attached.
