If they work, they work well, if they don't, there is a risk of fire.
I've been using these for a few years, sometimes they burn out in just a few days, sometimes they last a month. The problem is that sometimes they go out with a bang when they burn out. I had 3 lamps damaged by these bulbs. The newest blow out the flame from the top of the lamp. The last straw for me. I'll find another lightbulb and change bulbs.
