So far my expectations were justified (they aren't the best) but again considering the price for two cables on this purchase was about 1/2 the price of a decent brand name cable (each cable here is around 25% the equivalent of a decent big brand), all would meet my expectations for at least a 4 star rating. However. What was unacceptable was that out of the 4 I ordered each had a major problem. Starting with the wrong connection on one end versus the other (it doesn't matter which wire - black or red - you use for positive or negative as long as both ends are connected to the same polarity, but you also can't just connect end to a combination of colors?! ), screws that have never been tightened, and wires that are not fully inserted into the connector, and cold-soldered connections. Delivery of a product which in my opinion renders them unusable. The smallest part of QC would have caught all these problems. I was able to restore them and now they work great for the person I bought them for, but otherwise they would have been returned, hopefully before they cause such a problem as the amp burns out. or the speaker cone has moved backwards due to a polarity error.
