Review on 🥃 High-Quality 5 Gallon Pure Copper Alembic Still: Perfect for Whiskey, Moonshine, and Essential Oils - Copperholic by Lisa Wilson

Got the still today, washed and lit with mushrooms to make a hydrosol. The withdrawal started within 2-3 hours, which made me very happy. I noticed a bad odor when warming up, but didn't think about it until I tried the hydrolat. It was very bitter and filled with a kind of cloudy mucus that came out of the burner. I removed the cooling tank and found that the bad smell was coming from the cooling coil. After washing it again, I boiled it to cool the steam again. Before I put the cooling jug back in place, I collected moisture from the swan neck and found that the hydrosol tasted good but still had a few small flakes. Once the cooling vessel is in place, the hydrosol flows well, but again, it's bitter and spoiled. I don't know what else to do and am reporting to CopperHolic. I will update the rating if we can satisfactorily resolve this issue. I'm upset because he ruined a 5 gallon pot of mushrooms that I've been working hard to collect. 😒
