This knife is wonderful! That's very hard work with a nice thick strong blade! It also has a nice ergonomic wooden handle that is very comfortable for chopping! This knife makes a spectacular gift for the chef or home cook in your life! I actually bought this as a gift but when I received it I knew I should keep it! It's so comfortable and beautiful! I LOVE the included finger guard and the beautiful case. I'm so lucky to have a finger guard when teaching my 9 year old how to use a knife properly. This is a GREAT product for military veterans who are learning to cook but are unsure of their knife skills, it has protection to keep them from cutting themselves!
