Review on AUV128-16G-RBY ADATA UV128 16GB USB ๐Ÿ“€ 3.0 Flash Drive, Yellow - Retractable & Capless by Amit Amit แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

We are talking about a version with 64GB of memory and USB 3.2 (new flash drives come in 3.2. This 3.1 was renamed recently). I've been using it for less than a week, so I can't say anything about reliability. I took it for various tasks, as a Windows installer, for watching videos on TV, and other stuff. For these tasks, this is a great option. I benchmarked CrystalDiskMark 7.0 first in native FAT32 format, the results were ~48MB/s for 1MB sequential read, ~20MB/s for 1MB sequential write, and ~7MB/s for 4KB random read and write. I forgot to make a screenshot. Then I formatted it in exFAT, and then the flash drive revealed itself. I tested with different clusters, the results are the same, so I settled on "4096 bytes". The numbers are stable, you can see this by looking at the screenshots. I donโ€™t know how processor power affects flash drive speed testing in CrystalDiskMark, but if anyone is interested, I already have an old i7 4710HQ mobile processor.

Pros
  • - High read speed, acceptable write speed. - Doesn't heat up. Even after several runs in the tester in a row, the heat was barely felt (offhand 50-55 degrees maximum). - Retractable design. Forget cap losses. - Price. ~450r for 64GB of memory is very budget.
Cons
  • - Housing made of cheap plastic. When shaken, it sounds like a rattle. But in view of the advantages listed above, this does not matter at all. As an option, there is ADATA U150, where the case with a cap looks more serious at the same cost and filling (they are identical inside).

You can take it only because of the low price.

Pros below: Sympathetic, modern standard, convenient valve design, unlike dull models with a cap Different cons: Didn't notice for the price.

Broke after a month of use

The declared speed does not withstand. 3.0 she does not have close. The write speed is about 12 Mb/s. Four months later, it stopped being determined by computers, passed it under warranty. Money back. Draw your own conclusions.

Has pros: Pretty, large size at a modest price Has some cons Zaglyuchila . I had to apply low-level formatting. The case is not flimsy, but the mechanism itself is poorly fixed.
