Light but clumps well.
If you're worried that this filling won't stick together like clay filling, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Lumps probably aren't as hard, but they're still easy to pick up. Our cats have been using it since they were kittens and we've never had a problem. Cats don't usually like scented litter and the smell of this litter is NOT strong.
