Only lasted 7 months

I have a wonderful 1930's floor lamp that needs a hump base. I was excited to find this. The lamp was on a timer, so every day for several hours. The lamp should have 3 light levels. Only one level was ever used. The light didn't come on today. The light bulb burned out - all three levels. I have never had a bulb for this bulb last less than 2 years and never had a bulb burn out on all levels at once. Judging by the reviews, this is a common problem that I will not buy again.
