Great size for my 7.5ft tree and the cord is long enough to reach the exit at the base of my tree. I was looking for one with a fairly long cord as opposed to the cordless ones or the ones you plug into the top of your tree lights. The only downside is that I had trouble keeping the star upright on the top - it's definitely a sturdy but heavy tree star. Also, this is only really good if your tree is against a wall, so you can easily hide a long piece of string behind it.
