Actually bought for my fryer. The lid is a lot more roomy than I need for my fryer, but I wanted something that is completely closed and not just covering the fryer for this to work. The lid is big enough for me to put a hand mixer in as well. So far I haven't really had to clean it, but the outside feels like it's easy to clean, and the inside is made from a material you can just wipe clean - much like a lunch cooler bag. In general, the case is very high quality, I recommend.
