Love the fact that these brackets can either be placed entirely under the shelf they support, or the wall-mounted portion of the bracket can be positioned so that it protrudes above the shelf. The second method is not as strong, but these are very strong staples.

We use shelf brackets to hold two meat block shelves. We used the surplus from our guest house countertop to make these floating shelves. Holds up well. They have been in use for over a month now and look fantastic.

The mounts were well packaged and arrived in good condition. They feel solid and look great. The measurements are accurate. I didn't use the screws that came with it, so I can't comment on that. I used brackets to build an entertainment center. They do give a bit to the weight/force exerted, but that's to be expected without the angle brace.

They look good and are well made, but remember that 5mm is about 3/16 inch. I really needed 1/4" to adequately support the shelves I build without having to add a bracket to each post. If you can cut, bend and drill flat bar you can make them for a fraction of the price , what I did.

They are exactly as described. Very durable. I have used them for bookshelves in the office and they look fantastic. I was planning 12" shelves so I ordered 10" brackets. Husband decided he needed 10 inch shelves so they were too long. They are exactly 10" and 10" shelves are 9.25". I just flipped the brackets and they still worked great.

I paid about $25 for 4 iron shelf brackets. That's about half the price at big department stores like the HD and L. They're strong, durable, and well-made pieces. They came with the right size screws to attach both the 1/2 inch thick shelf to the wall and the shelf itself. Secure, stable attachment with perfectly aligned screw holes. I used them for a melamine shelf in the garage to store mountain bike gear. So far, so good.

I have used these in my kitchen to support some wooden shelves. The installation was fine and the look and feel was right. The only issues are: (1) there was a pair that weren't at 90 degrees so there was a gap, and (2) the screws that were included were easy - not heavy and the shorter ones (for screwing into wood) were too short for use in most cases and I had to use longer screws. Overall it gave me a look, arrived quickly and I will consider it for other shelves.

I didn't buy these to mount shelves for their intended purpose. Instead, I bought them to give extra support to a concrete countertop I made. Most of the weight of the tabletop rests on the bar itself, so they're just adding a little extra support to the bar. For that purpose, they seem to get the job done. They had some flex when mounted vertically, but not much. I'm sure they're great for attaching shelves.

Excellent mounts. I installed 6 of these brackets flush into the wall and used them to support a ready to assemble TV stand that was pretty darn low. A TV stand is absolutely NOT designed to be wall mounted (cheap chipboard is held together with camlocks) but since all the weight is on the shelf brackets I figured it would be fine. For this to work properly, the brackets must be strong and at exactly 90 degrees, which it is. it worked so well! I could probably sit on it, I won't as the TV stand
