As expected the first and last pages make a rustling noise and they are small and light enough for my 4 month old baby to hold in his hand and crumple what he does did. loves a lot. I love them more than other soft books I've brought as they are mostly black and white with high contrast colors that a child can see better. He does put them in his mouth though, so I wash them every other day and they're holding up great after a few gentle cycles. There are four of them, so many shapes and colors that he can look at them and I can read them to him. This is a great addition to tummy time.
