Good - yes, sealant has already been applied to the threads. A deep head is not suitable for engagement with a hex. I ended up using a 14mm deep file to install it. I tried gently filing (with a spark plug file) the convex brass section, but it would be too much to remove. So I either get a badly formed block or the whole batch is badly formed. Check with a 13mm deep socket as soon as you receive it to make sure you don't have the problems I had when you took things apart and are ready to reinstall.
