This is a great lube for your steering racks. I have a dart 2 fork and this stuff keeps it running smoothly. I really felt the difference even when the fork was brand new. The bottle comes with a small straw and felt pads for precise application. Try not to press too hard and be careful when applying, the stuff likes to spread (that's what it's made for). I usually apply a good bead directly to the seal and then squeeze the fork a couple of times. At the top of the posts you will see a layer of dirt. Wipe off the dirt and then follow the instructions and you're done. I highly recommend wrapping your racks in lizard skin fork boots after greasing them: Padded Lizard Skin Mountain Bike Fork Boots. This keeps them clean and makes re-lubrication much easier!
