Suitable for bike tools and maintenance

I first used this on my relatively new Pike. There isn't much of a difference as the Pike is already a very smooth fork. I then used it on my Monarch shock and noticed a significant improvement here. Before greasing, I had to put some force on the seat to get the damper to move. After lubricating, a very slight pressure sets the shock absorber in motion. Then I put it on my 1993 Specialized FS. Well smoothed out but this is a really old and very used fork. All in all a very good oil.

Not just for fork carriers

I don't just use this for luggage carriers. Instead of dripping directly onto the fork, I drip a little onto a clean, soft towel and rub the fork legs, leaving a thin film on the surface. I do the same with my damper. I also wipe the fork/rear shock seals (don't soak, just wipe) so they don't dry out and get covered in mud while riding. The tip of the needle is useful for applying lubricant to other areas such as shifter cables and mechanism springs. It is thinner than ordinary oil and does not

Works as advertised. The wicks are removed to some extent. Its worth it!

This is a great lube for your steering racks. I have a dart 2 fork and this stuff keeps it running smoothly. I really felt the difference even when the fork was brand new. The bottle comes with a small straw and felt pads for precise application. Try not to press too hard and be careful when applying, the stuff likes to spread (that's what it's made for). I usually apply a good bead directly to the seal and then squeeze the fork a couple of times. At the top of the posts you will see a layer of

If you love taking care of your bike as much as I do.

I do all my work on the herd myself. I don't have the latest or the best bikes. I'm much happier keeping my upper mid-range bikes at 110% and using the money saved to fund a few trips to Moab etc. Over the past few years I've been experimenting with different chain lubes and came across Finish Line Rack Lube. Front and rear shocks *feel* smoother, but definitely less dust. The biggest difference I noticed is the dropper seatpost. The dropper is definitely smoother. If you "really" care about…

Do not use this on a Rock Shox Reverb dropper

This is not advertised as a dropper so I didn't deduct any stars for it but some people have recommended it for a dropper. I just decided to share my experience with people. When I used it on my eyedropper it made the pen very slow and seemed to create a lot of friction in the pen almost causing it to get stuck. I thought the post was broken. Not used for the first time but after 2-3 uses. I started using another product to see if I could restore it, Finish Line Max Suspension Spray, and it…
