Review on 🔍 Dorman 310-500 Evap System Leak Detection Pump for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep - Enhanced SEO by Kevin Schnitzer

Bought for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. I got code P0440 and after diagnosing the problem it came down to the leak detection pump. Found, ordered as part number was correct and price was correct. After it arrived it looked the same until I tried to plug in the electrical connector. For some reason the connector socket just wouldn't slide and latch into the LDP and I couldn't engage the electrical connector latch (red clip). Chas struggled with it because he thought it was me. My friend tried it too. The original looks identical to this new Dorman part. So I'm not sure what we missed, but I had to bring the original factory part back to the car. This one is wrong.
