
When I stumbled across the Esp8266 I was sure it wouldn't perform as advertised. Any other Wi-Fi option on the Arduino costs $30 or more. I'm not an Arduino expert in any interpretation of the word. I received the Esp two days after receiving my Arduino but after several hours of trying I was finally able to get it working and sending data over the internet using Thingspeak.com. of Things" or even if you just want to build your own wireless router/bridge, it should be on your component list.
