Perfect! Excellent seller, excellent quality and packaging

The product was delivered on time, well packaged and fully functional, everything is fine! Great seller, great quality and packaging. As for the module itself, it's quite difficult to work with. If you're a beginner like me, you'd better get a 5V module (that's 3.3V, so you have to worry about under-voltage). if your system is 5V) and it is more layout friendly, like other ESP8266 models. There are many, just look. However, if you know how to work with this module, it is the cheapest and…

Fiction! for network transceivers

I bought it a while ago and just played around with it. These modules are a good buy. Communicating via Serial IO on Arduino boards with Thing Speak. As mentioned in other reviews, being able to upload sketches straight to the esp 8266 is a real asset! Bought a FT232 TTL 3.3V USB cable at DIYMall to communicate with esp 8266. There is tons of information out there about 8266 and not all of it is accurate. Learning a bit about uploading the sketch directly to the esp 8266, but that's okay.

  • Certified

  • Not as good as it says

Cheapest route to web-enabled Arduino projects

When I stumbled across the Esp8266 I was sure it wouldn't perform as advertised. Any other Wi-Fi option on the Arduino costs $30 or more. I'm not an Arduino expert in any interpretation of the word. I received the Esp two days after receiving my Arduino but after several hours of trying I was finally able to get it working and sending data over the internet using Thingspeak.com. of Things" or even if you just want to build your own wireless router/bridge, it should be on your component list.

Went like clockwork! the best in computers and accessories

I highly recommend these, I bought others from another seller and spent a lot of time getting them to work and they didn't work, replaced them in the same configuration and worked immediately, no fuss! Use *3.3V* FTDI. Make sure you have a good cable and a quality FTDI adapter that provides stable power. to start your application. Don't forget to turn off the power after every configuration change (IO0 change) and you're done.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great little chip!: Networking products

Great chip. It's pretty easy to program with the Arduino IDE and I actually used my Uno as an FTDI board to program it. These things will hit! I accidentally applied 5V across VCC and signaled a few times and even applied it to the wrong pins and it still oscillates heavily. Highly recommend, they are neat and fun to play with. The WLAN range is also very good for such a small antenna. We have a big house and it connects to our wifi from the other end with no problem.

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Socket required

LOW ENERGY! Great for beginners and experts alike.

SMALL ENERGY! This ESP8266 module is suitable for both beginners and experts. If you just want to play around with Arduino projects connected to Wi-Fi via AT commands, or upload Arduino IDE sketches to make it behave like a microcontroller, this helps. The 1MB flash has enough storage space and when I ran an AT+CWLAP scan with it, it found networks around me that I didn't even know existed. Very strong signal! I also quickly did the everyone's favorite "BLINK" sketch. If you're buying one (or…
