Surprisingly inexpensive and yet accurate meter with many functions. It is worth checking only the capacitor. I've used electronic meters for decades and have never been a fan of autoranging. Yes, it's good that you don't have to select a range in advance, but each measurement can take 2-3 seconds on devices with an automatic range. It doesn't sound like much, but when you test multiple points or test conditions one after the other (one after the other), it gets annoying and slows you down every time. Yes, there's a "Hold Range" button, but you need one hand to press it, and the device's auto-off feature resets it every time. Still a great device for the occasional hobbyist and good value for the money, but if you need to use it every day, get a manual range device.
