Only studded tires were allowed to be used during the whole winter. I made the decision to switch the tires out for new ones and consider using Velcro for this upcoming season. On October 25th, 2019, I got this rubber for the Polo sedan after reading the reviews and carefully assessing all of the benefits and drawbacks. I have currently driven approximately 6,000 of them, which accounts for approximately 70% of the city and 30% of the highway. Never once have I come to regret not getting the studded version. It's true that we have not had the opportunity to put it through its paces on icy or snowy terrain this winter. Predominantly rain. Shortly after the New Year holidays, while driving to work in the rain, I fell into a "not sickly" hole. The situation became so dire that I had no choice but to go and roll the disc. I was under the impression that rubber pipets could withstand pressure, but never mind. After the hernia was repaired, the disk was perfectly balanced, and there were no other problems with it. When passing another vehicle in a congested area, the sidewall of the vehicle made contact with the curb on multiple occasions. Also no punishments. In general, my impressions have been really favorable, and I would suggest it. I supplement, and I have already done so for the past two seasons without any issues. Despite the snowy and icy conditions of the winter of 20-21, the tires have never failed.
