
Several people have told me that most of these types of products are junk. I figured while it's not great, for less than $20 it's worth a try. Yes, it has its downsides, like heavy vignetting around focus and a little difficult to focus on, but still the photos are pretty decent. I would say the investment was worth it. I've attached some photos of a shot taken with a kit lens at about the same settings (left) as macro nesting (right) and you can decide for yourself.
