Review on 🚘 Authentic Ford 9U5Z-9C915-H Assembly for Vapor Canister Purge Valve by Joseph Hill

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great replacement, just didn't even need to be changed.

This is a complex overview. Technically I had two of these valves. This first one appeared on my Ford Fusion (2011) apparently. And he stopped working at a mileage of about 50,000 km. My check engine light came on (p144a I think) and I went to an auto parts store to determine the code. The parts dealer said it was a special Ford code so they couldn't pinpoint the real problem or how to do it. I googled the code and found that this is most likely a problem with this valve (which seems to be a VERY common problem). ). After getting some not-so-great advice from a third-party mechanic about just ignoring it because it wouldn't hurt, I noticed that the Fusion stalled after each tank. After further research I decided to simply replace the part. yourself and see what happens. I've swapped it out (very easy to get to and swap out) and refueled several times without stopping, no check engine light. I'll have to run the error code again to see if it persists, but I'll update this review if it does. In short, it was nice to solve the problem myself by just ordering the $50 part. My rating has more to do with the fact that I had to take care of it at all.
