This is a solid product that feels well thought out. It's very lightweight and actually quite customizable by the end user. I use it as a portable mount for the Renogy 50 watt panel kit. I take it with me on our long trailer rides, strap it to the trunk of my pickup truck while driving, and then put it on the ground when camping. Given my usage, I had to change it up a bit; File the sharp corners so they don't cut into my padded decklid and drill 4 additional holes along the base rails for the eye bolts as attachment points. I tested the concept yesterday, it seems to work!
