Digic 4 Cameras And using a $1,400 Canon 35mm f/1.4 L just wasn't enough for me. It was definitely worth the upgrade and I'm still amazed at the image quality it delivers on both full frame and crop sensor cameras, no doubt about that. on par with the Canon equivalent I'm a videographer myself, not a photographer, and I have to say the built in focus tracking mechanisms work great, the hard stop focus is really good as the Canon L lenses don't have it. The manual iris with the click off is a huge plus and the bokeh is really nice when I compare it to the Canon 35mm f/1.4 L.
