Review on MSD 8406 Distributor Cap Rotor by Matthew Goozmer
Two strikes for MSD.
This is the second MSD cap and rotor I have bought. The first cover was torn, obviously I didn't open it. The second looked fine until I noticed that the center electrode in the cap (carries current from the ignition coil to the distributor) was broken in half. Both lids were in undamaged packaging, which leads me to believe that the defect came from the factory and not from shipping. This is nothing but Chinese junk sold and sold as spare parts. I have since bought a BWD cap and rotor. They look good and are made in the USA. Stay away from those MSD caps.
