Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Optimized Standard Photopolymer Printing with NOVA3D Printer by Francisco Holmes

Poor adhesion, poor dimensional stability, brittle brittle brittle

Black translucent. I was expecting opacity, but maybe I didn't read the description fully. This resin costs 1/2 of the brands mentioned. You seem to get what you pay for. It doesn't fit snugly in the build platform - the grip is quite flimsy and occasionally seems to loosen as the print progresses. I can't say the level of detail isn't significantly different from the more expensive resins, but this resin - more so than others - shrinks and warps. it doesn't seem to matter what you do. Heal a lot, heal a little, flush a lot, flush a little - it doesn't matter if it shrinks. The lack of dimensional stability is really disappointing - not what I expected from a resin printer. (Maybe my expectations weren't met.) My flat surfaces warp and warp after a day or two. But by far the worst quality of this resin is its durability - or lack thereof. It's extremely brittle. Over time, it seems to become more and more fragile and almost useless. I find the pieces cracked just for sitting there. Even the slightest pressure will cause cracks. God forbid you drop something. It is not strong and very fragile. I can try mixing some plasticizer or something like that, but for now I'll have to forgo it. I print housings and automotive connectors that require a certain level of strength.
