They were extremely easy to unpack and put together and have worked well since the first day I unpacked them and placed them on my patio table over two weeks ago. The second night, after a full day outdoors on a rainy day, they emerged at dusk and were still shining brightly in the fog the next morning. I am very happy with the brightness level and the ability to change the colors. However, the information available at the time of ordering said they came with a touch bar for easy color changing, which is not the case. The only way to change the color of the LED is to unscrew the cap, press the color selector, and screw the top back on. It's fine if you only have a few, but it's quite time consuming if you have a lot like I planned. Also, it said the wildlife repelling staff is detachable, which it isn't, and I don't see where it can even be in this style without a staff. While I want the stake on the lane, I don't want them going onto the deck where they could potentially catch the throw and get tangled in the line. I suspect this feature may have been removed to prevent water getting into the flashlight, but it should be possible to purchase without an insert at all. Overall the quality makes these flashlights great value for money and I would definitely recommend them if price is not a potential issue for you. However, I went back to buying dock/deck lights for my project.
