Yes I have broken countless wine glasses over the years and yes my wife would prefer that I drink wine from a durable plastic glass. That's why I was so happy to find these jars wrapped in - in what? Rubber? They're easy to hold, dishwasher safe, and you can measure your usual 5 or 6 ounce pour (or whatever) by the holes that allow you to see the wine in the glass - that's literally the main reason I get them compared to others selected there. I haven't dropped one yet, it's the same principle as pouring thousands into a generator so you never run out of power again, but I'm sure they'll last a long time. Greeting!
