Decided to clarify supported features as some of these reviews have old information about what I suspect is an earlier version of this cable . This cable actually supports 100W power delivery (as advertised on the box and charges my 2016 15" MacBook Pro) and also supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. I use this cable primarily to connect a Dell Inspiron USB-C (no Thunderbolt 3) to a Dell USB-C Monitor (U3419W) and also occasionally to connect my 2016 15" MacBook Pro and Lenovo Thinkpad Thunderbolt 3 the monitor no problem either.
